Daniel Romano - Workin' For the Music Man
You may recognize this artist as the "Daniel" in "Daniel, Fred & Julie." He's just released a solo record on Dine Alone Records called Workin' For the Music Man . The country-folk style of this record is in the same vein as his last release, and he continues to venture far from the punk origins of his original rock band Attack in Black.
This song is off his new record called "She Was The World To Me." It sounds a lot like the material from Daniel, Fred & Julie, in fact, I think that might be "Julie" in the video singing with him. I hope you enjoy.

The girl in the video is definitely not Julie Doiron. I believe that's his lady friend Misha Bower.
Also, he's still very much in Attack in Black. Daniel, Fred and Julie is mostly a side project for all three artists.
And with that said, I'd like to check this record out. I've got it on order, not gonna be in for a couple weeks.
